In 2012, Jens Grede, 36, and Erik Torstensson, 35, the two London-based Swedes behind Frame Denim, who also helm über-creative agency Saturday Group and the industry glossy Industrie, set out to create the perfect jeans for fashion types.
“C’est moi,” says Atlantique Ascoli, identifying the effortlessly chic French girl in the look book for her new collection of what she terms “over blouses”: crisp shirts in natural cotton with just a trace of linen. “I really wear the clothes.”

This month, she brings her Paris-London verve stateside with an 18-piece capsule collection of fashion-forward basics for Barneys that combines feminine silhouettes with a more masculine, tailored aesthetic; think full circle skirts, nipped-waist shirtdresses, and an alpaca coat in aqua. “I’ve never been a crazy magpie,” says Sewell. “I think a lot of women can relate to the way I dress.”
